1.   Approval for Library Services Division to apply for Library Services & Technology Act Grant (LSTA) to reduce costs of updating technology. (A. Weeks)  
 
2.   Approval of the following two items for Ronald S. Wasilenko, Special Magistrate for Code Enforcement:
  • Termination of Second Renewal to Clay County Agreement #06/07-106; and,
  • New Agreement with Ronald S. Wasilenko through the Law Firm Marks Gray with an effective date of January 1, 2011.
Mr. Wasilenko’s law firm merged with the firm Marks Gray and future payments will need to be made to that firm. The new agreement is under the same terms and conditions ($135.00 per hour). Funding Source: 131-1806-531000 (B. Johns/H. Parrish)
 
 
3.   Approval of Lease Agreement with the Clay County Flyers Radio Controlled Club, Inc., for use of the facilities at Sleepy Hollow Landfill Property. (B. Johns/E. Mattox)  
 
4.   Approval of Lease Agreement with the Oakleaf Sports Association for the use of facilities at Oakleaf Community Park. (B. Johns/K. Huntley)  
 
5.   Approval of Modification #6 to Sub-grant Agreement with the Division of Emergency Management to extend the expiration date on the Federal portion ($866,626.00) of the grant to April 15, 2011. Funding Source: 305-6009-562000 (B. Johns/L. Mock)  
 
6.   Approval of renewal of Agreement #09/10-88 with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) in the amount of $30,700.00 for GIS software maintenance.

7.   Approval of Budget Transfer #11-074 in the amount of $1500.00 to allocate funds from Planning & Zoning Division's budget to Code Enforcement Division's budget for expenses associated with the purchase of wireless telephones and air cards for part-time Code Enforcement employees. This transfer is between cost centers within the same fund. Funding Source: 131-1804-531000 (R. O'Connell/M. Kloehn)  
 
8.   Approval for the Clay County Department of Public Safety to purchase, from the Florida Fire Chief’s Association, Florida Sheriffs Association & Florida Association of Counties contract with Pierce Manufacturing, Inc., a Pierce Contender Series Level I Custom Fire Department Pumper Unit. This purchase includes the base unit model as listed in the bid, add/delete options to comply with Department bid specifications, and additional loose equipment necessary for operation of the vehicle. The total purchase price for this procurement is $379,933.00 which includes a trade-in option as listed on the proposal.

9.   Approval to post notice of intent and to award Bid #10/11-8, Newcastle Drive Wetland Restoration and Flood Control, to J.B. Coxwell Contracting, Inc. in the negotiated amount of $360,831.65. Additional approval, pending legal review, of the attached contract for this project. Approval will be effective after the 72-hour bid protest period has expired, assuming no protests are received.
