Approval of staff recommendation to award RFP No. 09/10-16, Dispatch Console Furniture, to the number one ranked company 911 Direct. This RFP provides dispatch furniture to the following locations: Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Clay County Emergency Operation Center, Orange Park Police Department and Green Cove Springs Police Department. Further approval for staff to have the ability to negotiate additional components at the identified prices of the proposed equipment is recommended. Staff’s evaluations of the submittals are attached hereto for consideration. Proposals with equipment and prices are available for review in the Purchasing Department.

2.   Approval to post notice of intent and to award Bid #09/10-12, Constitution Drive Cross Drain Addition, to Jeff’s Excavating, Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $44,350.00. 5.   Approval to post notice of intent and to partially award Bid #09/10-13, Tree Removal, to the most responsive and responsible bidders as such:
  • Stewarts Tree Service for Mango Drive, Bel Med Ditch, Havenwood Ditch and Hudson Place-Right of Way locations.
  • BAMACO, Inc. for the Brannan Oaks Drive and Broken Arrow Ditch locations.

9.   Approval of Budget Amendment #10-115 and Resolution in the amount of $5,000.00 to record unanticipated revenue from the United States Marshals Service. The Clay County Sheriff's Office will use the funds for Crime Watch publications that will be distributed at the 2010 Clay County Agricultural Fair and in the local newspaper.
