1. | Discussion Regarding Revisions to Branan Field LDRs (Convenience Stores/Gas Stations) |

Staff was contacted by a developer who is interested in developing a site within the Branan Field Plan area for use as a convenience store and gas station. The preliminary site plan did not meet the requirements of the Branan Field Plan. The developer contacted Commissioner Robinson who, through the County Manager, directed staff to amend the regulations to accommodate development of the site per the site plan. The ordinance to revise the Branan Field Land Development Regulations is submitted for discussion. | |||||||
2. | Discussion Regarding Accessory Structures on Waterfront Lots | ||||||
At the request of Commissioner Robinson, as directed by the County Manager, staff is proposing a change to Article III to revise the requirements for accessory structures on waterfront lots. For waterfront lots, the front and rear yards are determined at the time the building permit is issued for the primary residence. If the waterfront is considered to be the front yard, all accessory structures must be located within the rear. This change would allow accessory structures on waterfront lots to be placed in both the front and rear yards. | |||||||
