The ethics special session may end early, saving taxpayers thousands of dollars. On Thursday the Senate wrapped up a debate on House Bill 1 without a vote. The bill is considered to be a key component of Gov. Bobby Jindal's ethics reform package and would require thousands of state government officials to disclose their personal finances.
