Heart disease is not only the No. 1 killer in America, it's also one of the most costly diseases. The American Heart Association says in 2007 heart disease cost Americans about $432 billion dollars in medical expenses and lost productivity. With that in mind, some Louisiana companies are trying to help their employees reduce their risks for heart attacks and stroke while at work.
