Livingston Parish resident Annie Lewis said the things in her yard were heirlooms, but the parish didn't agree. On Tuesday she screamed in tears as parish workers removed her collection of things she claimed held sentimental value. Neighbors have been trying to get the yard cleaned up for years. Two years ago a judge issued a court order to remove the debris from the property, but figuring out who would pay to clean it up stalled the work.
