A senator from New Orleans is calling for a big pay raise for herself and her colleagues. Louisiana lawmakers are listed as part-time employees, but Sen. Ann Duplessis is hoping to raise pay to full-time status. The bill would quadruple the pay for most lawmakers through their base pay.
