The deadline to file your federal income taxes came at midnight on Tuesday. The post office on Bluebonnet Boulevard stayed open until 11:30 p.m., allowing last-minute taxpayers to get in before the deadline. Earlier in the day, taxpayers and preparers worked to get things done on time.
