A new law proposes to make changes to speed limits when passing emergency vehicles parked on the side of the road. Right now, drivers are supposed to slow down to 25 miles per hour if on a multi-lane highway, but some lawmakers want to change it to 25 miles per hour below the posted speed limit in the interest of safety.
