Despite your objections, state lawmakers voted to give themselves a pay raise on Monday. Gov. Bobby Jindal is now the only person who can stop the bill from passing, but the governor said Monday he won't veto it. Some lawmakers say they have opposed the pay raises from the start and that it wouldn't be right to take the money and run.
