Walker Police Chief Hunter Grimes says his officers have been overwhelmed with calls. Grimes said police responded to nearly 350 calls last month, which does not include emergency 911 dispatches. Because they are spending less time writing tickets, the department now faces a 50 percent drop in revenue.
