Cooler temperatures usually mean fewer West Nile carrying mosquitoes to worry about, but East Baton Rouge Mosquito Control officials said they won't let the weather fool them. In fact, on Wednesday the department plans to ask the Metro Council for nearly $300,000 for insecticide and maintenance of a plane used for spraying.
