Within minutes of surveillance video airing on WBRZ News 2 on Thursday, police tip lines lit up and a murder suspect was soon placed behind bars. Police arrested Derrick Williams, 25, who is accused of shooting 71-year-old Albert Mequet on Wednesday morning at Pete's Farmers market off Airline Highway. While a suspect may be in custody, residents in the area of the market say they don't feel any safer.
