LSU Baseball Coach Paul Mainieri kicked off the 2008 season with Tuesday's First Pitch Banquet at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The event, which featured several notable players from the program's past, was set up to pay homage to the teams that started the championship decade for LSU.
