Dani Hofer is one of the most prized recruits in LSU softball history, but for the past two seasons she has been pitching in a shadow with Emily Turner being the ace of the staff. Now with Turner's departure, Hofer has become the team's ace and will be counted on to pitch LSU back into the Women's College World Series.
